Chloe Adams

Chloe Adams writes and reviews the guides on Menuquavix, covering restaurant menus online, accessibility, the rules that affect menus and pricing, booking and ordering, and website costs.

In brief

Chloe Adams is the pen name used by the editor of Menuquavix, who writes and reviews every guide and service page, checks the sources and handles corrections.

What Chloe covers

  • Restaurant menus on the web, from HTML structure to required notices.
  • Website accessibility for businesses open to the public, including WCAG 2.2.
  • The US rules that touch restaurant websites: menu labeling, allergen notices, service fees and consumer reviews.
  • Booking, online ordering and Google Business Profile for restaurants.
  • What restaurant websites cost and how projects are scoped.

How the guides are researched

Every guide starts from the documents that set the rules: federal regulations, agency guidance, court dockets, state attorney general pages and platform help centers. Where a guide relies on a law firm summary, a trade publication or a commercial price guide, the source list labels it. Quotes are copied word for word, and each guide shows the date its sources were checked.

Guides are reviewed when a rule they cover changes. When a correction is needed, the page is updated and significant corrections are noted at the end of the page with the date, as our editorial policy describes.

A note on what the guides are not

The guides explain rules and practices in plain language. They are not legal advice, and Chloe is not an attorney. Restaurant owners should confirm legal questions with their own counsel or local health department.
