Restaurant Website Project Planner

Sixteen short questions about your restaurant, your guests and what the website must do. Your answers turn into a plain text brief you can download, keep or send to any designer.

In brief

Fill in what you can, skip what you cannot, and press "Create my brief." Nothing is sent anywhere: the brief is created in your browser, and you choose whether to download it, copy it or email it to us.

This planner needs JavaScript to create the brief. Without it, you can copy the sixteen questions below into an email to hello@menuquavix.site and answer them there.

For example: a neighborhood trattoria, a café and bakery, a cocktail bar.
5. What should guests be able to do on the website? (Choose any.)
Our guides on allergen information and service fees explain which rules may apply.

What to do with your brief

The brief is yours. You can keep it for your own planning, share it with your team, or send it to any web designer. If you would like us to quote, email it to hello@menuquavix.site or paste it into the contact form, and we will reply within two business days.

Why these questions

Each question maps to a part of the project that changes the design, the timeline or the cost:

QuestionsWhat they decide
1 to 4The tone, the audience and the structure of the site
5 to 8The main actions and the tools we need to connect
9Which notices the menus must carry
10 to 13The pages, the brand work, the photography and the writing
14 to 16How the site will be maintained, the timeline and anything unusual

Privacy

Everything you type stays on your own device: the brief is assembled by your browser, and we only see it if you decide to send it. Do not include personal information about guests or staff in the brief. Our privacy notice explains what happens if you contact us.
