By using this website you agree to these terms. The guides are general information, not legal or professional advice. The planner runs in your browser and sends nothing unless you choose to. Any project work is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms.
About this website
This website is run by Menuquavix, which designs and builds websites for restaurants, cafés, bars and food brands in the United States. Contact: hello@menuquavix.site.
Information, not advice
Our guides explain rules and practices that affect restaurant websites, and they cite the sources they rely on. They are general information only, not legal, tax or professional advice, and a rule may have changed in your state or city since we last checked it. Before acting on anything legal, check with your own attorney or the relevant authority, such as your local health department or state attorney general.
Design concepts
The restaurant website concepts shown on this site are illustrative designs for fictional businesses. They are not client work, and any resemblance to a real business name is unintended.
The planner
The planner creates a text brief in your browser from the answers you type. We do not receive or store your answers unless you send them to us. You are responsible for what you include; please do not enter personal information about guests or staff.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site: do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, send automated or bulk submissions through the contact form, or use the site to send unlawful content.
Intellectual property
The text, design, graphics and code of this website belong to Menuquavix or are used under license. You may quote short passages from our guides with a link to the source page. Please ask before reproducing larger parts. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned in our guides belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Links to other websites
Links in our guides lead to agencies, courts, platforms and publishers, which lets you verify what we wrote. Those sites belong to others; their content, and any later edits to it, are outside our control.
Project work
If you hire us, the project is governed by the written quote and agreement you accept, which set out scope, timeline, payments, ownership and responsibilities. If those documents conflict with these terms, they take priority.
Limits of liability
We work to keep the site accurate, yet it is offered "as is," with no warranties, as far as the law permits. As far as the law permits, Menuquavix accepts no liability for loss caused by using the site or relying on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change; check the last updated line near the top of the page for the current version.
